Campground at beautiful Mikkira Station Koala Sanctuary


Camp out with the koalas in a beautiful setting amongst the Manna Gums. Plenty of space for families to share a great camping experience. This is private property so a key is required to enter. Strict rules must be followed and common sense used. Campfires allowed (in non-fire-ban season) in fire pits, please bring your own wood with you. Please note access road conditions can vary on weather- please check.

Bookings are per vehicle and your car registration number is required. Please prebook so key arrangements can be made. A code is required to access your key from the safe located at the rear of the Visitor Information Centre. If booking online and visiting on a weekend please call 0419302300 for the code for the after hours safe or to find out if any keys are available on the accommodation desk. Please text through the key no that you take.

Owner has the right to cancel any bookings if the weather poses a risk to the stay. Anyone breaking the rules will be evicted from the property. Property not available during the summer months due to fire risk. Your key must be returned to Visit Port Lincoln Accommodation. If your allocated key is lost or not returned your credit card will be charged a key replacement fee of $50.00. Please note that anyone disturbing the peace or comfort of other patrons and/or wildlife will be asked to leave the property immediately. No parties will be tolerated. No refunds will be given and you may be responsible for any costs incurred by the property owner and/or Visit Port Lincoln Accommodation. You agree to leave the property in the same condition as received including taking all rubbish with you. Campfires must be contained off the ground in a fire pit or drum with no ashes left behind. By confirming your booking you agree to the aforementioned conditions.
